The Samsung 990 Pro 4TB SSD has dropped again to a new, all-time low price. While it has an MSRP of around $345, today, it’s available for just $250, putting the final price at about 6 cents per GB. So far, no expiration date has been listed for the discount.
The drive launched in only 2 TB and 1 TB options from the overall lineup, but the 4TB edition did get released a few months ago. Despite just being released, Samsung has still opted to lower the 4TB variant price by over $90.
Currently, at Amazon, users can purchase Samsung’s 990 Pro 4TB SSD for $250. It’s a high-speed drive, reaching read speeds of up to 7450 Mbps and write speeds up to 6900 Mbps. The purchase is backed up by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty from Samsung.
While this discount only applies to the 4TB 990 Pro SSD, it’s worth noting that they share many specifications, including an M.2 2280 form factor, PCIe 4.0 x4 interface support, 176-layer V-NAND TLC memory, and a Samsung Pascal controller. The 4TB model can reach read/write speeds as high as 7450/6900 Mbps.
The Samsung 990 Pro 4TB SSD comes with a limited 5-year warranty from Samsung that voids if the drive reaches 2400TBW. The purchase is also supported by Amazon’s 30-day return policy.
