Omaha police arrest woman after child found inside SUV dies


A 40-year-old woman is in custody after a child was left unattended inside a vehicle and died Wednesday, according to Omaha police.Juanita Pinon was arrested for child abuse by neglect, resulting in death. Officers were called to the scene in the area of 93rd and Binney streets just after 5 p.m.

One witness told KETV he and Pinon rushed out of a beauty salon to an SUV and found the child inside.
