Iran Prisoners Reach American Soil After Years of Detention

The five Americans freed by Iran in a controversial cash-for-prisoners swap landed on U.S. soil Tuesday after spending years as captives in Tehran, CNN reported Tuesday.
The former captives were in the Washington, D.C., area CNN said.
“Today, five innocent Americans who were imprisoned in Iran are finally coming home,” President Joe Biden said in a statement after a plane carrying the former hostages from Tehran landed in Doha, Qatar on Monday.
