The FAA introduced that it revoked the pilot licenses of daredevils Luke Aikins and Andy Farrington for his or her recklessness within the unauthorized Crimson Bull-sponsored stunt, USA Today reported Thursday. Hulu livestreamed it on April 24.
The fun-seeking cousins tried to fly their planes to 12,000 ft after which skydive to swap their plummeting plane and land them.
Aikins completed the problem, however Farrington missed. He deployed his parachute and landed safely whereas the airplane he was supposed to leap into crashed into the desert flooring in Eloy, Arizona.
Aikins acknowledged on Instagram final month that the FAA had rejected his request to permit the stunt, but he went ahead with it anyway with out telling his workforce.
A Crimson Bull spokesperson told The New York Times the matter was between the pilots and the FAA. The paper couldn’t attain both pilot.
