3 dead, 1 injured after explosion leads to massive fire at Hillsboro auto repair shop


Emergency crews and first responders were called to an auto repair shop in Hillsboro for an explosion that caused a massive fire on Tuesday afternoon.According to the Paint Creek Joint EMS & Fire District Chief David Manning, the fire broke out around 4 p.m. at 502 S. High Street in Hillsboro at Jimbo’s Auto Repair. Manning confirmed that there was an explosion at the building. At this time, officials have not confirmed what led up to the explosion. According to Manning, three people have died as a result of the fire.
